The news is out. We’re teaming up with Lydia as its open banking technology partner across Europe, to streamline the app’s bank connectivity and create new services for millions of its customers. The aim? To give Lydia users the best possible experience, and help them manage their daily financial lives – all in one place.

Lydia is leading the charge when it comes to mobile money management in France – helping its users control their finances in one app, while sending and receiving money with ease. Lydia has a 25% market share among French millennials, processes €250 million in transactions each month and gains more than 5,000 new users to the app every day. And now, Lydia is partnering with Tink to improve its user experience and create new services for its 4 million customers.

Step one of the partnership sees Tink’s account aggregation and payment initiation tech being integrated into Lydia’s app. This means the user experience will be improved when connecting accounts across multiple banks, making payments, and managing who the money goes to.

The partnership will then extend into the creation of new services in the app, and support Lydia in its expansion outside of France.
